2005 was a huge year for us as far as needed help from mission groups.
We joined forces with the Mississippi Sheriffs' Ranches this year and the
facilities at the Boys' Ranch needed much repair. Mission groups
were invaluable to us in getting those facilities repaired and usable
again so that we could open our independent living program there.
They were also very helpful in completing several projects on the Columbus
Campus.
Some of the many projects and activities they did for us:
Replaced the roof and siding on Kelly and Faith homes at the Boys'
Ranch.
Completely remodeled the interior of Kelly home.
Demolished several un-repairable structures at the Boys' Ranch and
cleaned up debris from downed trees, etc.
Vacation Bible Schools and Worship/Bible Studies with the children.
Painting in many of the cottages and support buildings.
Landscaping at many of the cottages and support buildings.
Built new shelves in several cottages.
Volunteered many hours at the thrift store sorting donations and
organizing the store.
Repaired green houses and worked at the orchard and garden.
