Palmer Home wishes to
provide for our children a stable and loving environment. We desire to
nourish them spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually, as well as care
for their physical needs.
Since Palmer is equipped
to provide long-term care when necessary, our financial responsibilities
for a child could continue from birth through college. And with basic
living expenses ever on the increase, you can well imagine what it takes
to raise some 80 children.
Becoming a child’s Pledge
Sponsor is easy, but it’s a decision you will want to make personally in
the privacy of your own home, after carefully considering your other
commitments to family and church.
All funds given to help
support a child should be sent to the Business Office for proper response
and tax receipt. Individual gifts may also be given to the child;
however, is always wise to check with the houseparents to determine
specific needs. Since the children live as a family, we appreciate those
who remain sensitive to the need for moderation and practicality.
To become a child’s
Pledge Sponsor, indicate any preference on the form below and tell us
the amount you will pledge monthly. If you would prefer to make your gift
less frequently, let us know your pledge commitment by filling in the
space marked “other.”
Once we hear from you, we
will send you a picture of a child along with a brief biographical
sketch. We will then use your monthly gift to directly provide for that
child’s total needs. An investment in a child’s future can be one of the
most personally rewarding things one could ever do. That’s certainly our
prayer for you as you begin your sponsorship. With your partnership,
Palmer Home can indeed be a place where hope still grows!
