Current Prayer Requests

Fervent prayer is a constant, daily, and ever changing need for both Palmer and the Ranch.  Struggling youngsters bring with them a bevy of hurts, disappointments and broken dreams.  Financial challenges abound.  And the way forward is not always clear.  For the latest prayer needs, or to pray specifically for a particular child, please call, email, or write.  We’ll be happy to enlist you as a prayer sponsor for a Palmer or Ranch child or to share with you the most current burdens of our hearts.  Still, some prayer requests are continual and recurring.  Among them are these:

Entire Agency

• Pray that Palmer would fulfill its promise to serve more hurting people in more locations.
• Pray that Palmer's children may overcome their family and emotional hurts and learn to trust and grow in the Lord.
• Pray that Palmer will be a catalyst in encouraging other ministries to children in need.
• Pray that the Lord will amply supply Palmer's growing financial needs, especially the need for daily operating funds.
• Pray for Palmer's staff, that they would remain steadfast in their faith and be effective representatives and models of the love of Christ towards the fatherless.
• Pray that the Lord would continue to direct children and hurting families our way, so they can discover the reality of God’s love as expressed through His people.

Hernando Campus

• Pray for the continued growth of the Hernando Campus and also that the Lord will give us wisdom as we seek to maintain our spiritual integrity and commitment to quality child care services.
• Pray that the Lord will increase the prayer and financial support from churches in the North Mississippi and greater Memphis area.
• Pray for the children who are new in our care, that they may adjust and thrive in their new situation, seeing and feeling the love of Christ.
• Pray for our staff and for their continued physical, emotional, and spiritual strength as they wrestle with the ministry needs before them.
• Pray for the many friends and volunteers who share the vision for the Hernando Campus, giving thanks for the willing hands and hearts the Lord has sent our way.

Columbus Campus

• Pray that the Lord would continue to direct our steps as we develop new programs and approaches to reach hurting youngsters.
• Pray for the continuing support and help from the numerous volunteer mission teams and groups who continue to improve our facilities and enrich the quality of life for our children.
• Pray that our children will find safe haven at Palmer Home, a place where they can discover and achieve their full potential in Christ.
• Pray for our child care, administrative, and fund-raising staff, that we will be good stewards of the resources the Lord provides, and that we will wisely use them to achieve maximum results.
• Pray that we will remain faithful; faithful to the call of Christ, faithful to the church, faithful to our founding vision.
